The principal designer of Amalia Designs, Andrea Slappey, draws inspiration from life experiences to create sophisticated jewelry with an aesthetic that connects generations. Slappey finds crafting her creations to be an inspired process and her work often expresses subtle symbolism motivated by her surroundings and the materials at hand.
One of my favorite pieces is the XO Band Ring (also part of my personal collection!). The rings are inscribed with X’s and O’s to symbolize wholeness and partnership.
