What better time to host an outdoor dinner than in the fall? No muggy heat and frisky summertime mosquitoes and not yet time for the blistering wind and blizzards that winter brings (if we’re lucky!). If you’re thinking of having friends and family over for a fall fest we have a few suggestions…
Pick a color palette and run with it! We’ve gone with earthy tones and browns to accent the changing colors of fall. Stock up on hors d’oeuvres and lay them out on platters. If you’re having a sit down dinner, set the table with all necessities (unique napkin holders make a great addition to any table).
Make sure you’re give yourself plenty of prep time to set up so that you don’t find yourself overwhelmed when guests start arriving. Pick out your outfit in advance. A beige cape is a great elegantly casual piece perfect for a brisk fall night. Play it up with some fun accessories.
Take advantage of a night outdoors while it lasts!
