I went to Brazil for the first time two years ago and fell in love with the people, culture, food and shopping. I carried back two cowhide rugs, but with today’s luggage restrictions, that would be hard to do. So I bring them directly to you. We searched far and wide to find the highest quality rugs made with cowhide hand-selected from Brazil’s top tanneries. This natural cowhide from Brazil features short shiny hair and supple, soft leather. Measured from the hindquarters to the nape of the neck. 36 - 42 square feet or 6' x 7.5'. *Please note that natural color will vary per hide.
Spot clean. Vacuum regularly to prevent dust and crumbs from setting into roots of the fibers. Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Remove spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean, undyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard-to-remove stains, professional rug cleaning is recommended. Store your rug by rolling it front side out and wrapping in cloth for protection. Place in a dry, well-ventilated area.
