The workmanship on these intricately carved handmade copper and brass cuffs first caught my eye. I just love the delicate floral designs and two-toned look of the cuff. But what really got my attention was the story of Noah’s Ark, a consortium of 28 small artisan groups in the villages of Moradabad, India, who create these lovely pieces. The craftspeople now enjoy fair wages, business support and an opportunity to acquire medical care, life insurance and education for their children. Now that’s a beautiful thing. -JG
